Meaningfully Engaging Men and Boys in Anti-violence Work

Join us for Changing Ways’ first Community Conversation: Meaningfully Engaging Men and Boys in Anti-violence Work.

Increasingly, dialogue about preventing violence, particularly gender-based violence, has called for better engagement of men and boys to create allyship and safety. Understanding what that means and how we can best support men in our community is paramount to effective intervention and prevention.

This panel discussion will feature the following community leaders, who will talk about what it really means to engage men and boys in anti-violence work and spaces, and provide insights into ways communities can promote non-violence:

  • London City Mayor Josh Morgan
  • Humberto Carolo, White Ribbon Canada
  • Steve Cordes, Youth Opportunities Unlimited
  • Mohammed Baobaid, Muslim Resource Center
  • Joe Henry, Dean of Students at King's University College

A small reception in the Garron Lounge will follow the panel discussion. The event is free, but we ask attendees to register.
