Track and Field - Can Am Classic

The Western Mustangs Track and Field team had a strong showing at the 32nd Annual Can Am track classic in Windsor this past weekend. The team won a total of 14 medals at the event and also accomplished an additional top 8 finishes.

The Mustangs women picked up two gold, four silver, three bronze medals and had 22 additional top eight performances. The men’s team also put in a strong performance, coming home with one gold, one silver, and three bronze medals as well as 13 other top eight results.

King’s own Katie Bell won a silver medal along with the women’s 4 X 400m team with a time of 4:03.91. Saeb Omer also did King’s proud winning silver along with the men’s 4 X 200m relay team.

Wrestling - Brock Invitational

The Western Mustangs Wrestling team won three bronze medals at the Brock Invitational held this past Saturday in St. Catharine’s. King’s Elhame Gashi was one of the medal winners at this event.
