Western heads into their final two games this weekend. The Men’s team will face Guelph on Friday, February 23 at 8 p.m. They will take on Waterloo on Saturday, February 24 at 8 p.m.

King's student Evan Hammond has contributed to growing Western's reputation as a strong blocking team. Western sits second overall in both total blocks (139) and blocks per set (2.44).

The Women’s Volleyball team heads into their final weekend of action with a 12-5 record. The team is comfortably in second within the OUA West.

King’s Kelsey Veltman is a star player. “Her presence on the floor may determine the outcome of this weekend's matchups for the Mustangs, as she has proven to be one of the most dominant players in the nation over her four years at Western,” reads Mustang’s news story. “In addition to having the team's highest point totals and averages, Veltman is arguably one of the best all-around athletes on the roster. Her attack is rarely adequately handled by the opposition, and she has developed into one of the most lethal servers in the OUA. The last three games in which she competed saw her rack up five aces per game – miles above her current .57 average.”

The Mustangs will face Guelph on Friday, February 23 at 6 p.m. and Waterloo on Saturday, February 24 at 6 p.m.

Good luck, Mustangs! We are cheering you on.
