King’s University College will be hosting a virtual Celebration of Graduates including a livestream of speeches, from students, faculty and staff at 7 p.m.  on Thursday, October 22, 2020.

The livestream broadcast will take place from the Joanne and Peter Kenny Theatre. A sign language interpreter will be available.

Speakers will include:

  • Dr. David Malloy, King's University College Principal
  • Reverend Michael Béchard, Director of the Office of Campus Ministry and the Pastor of Christ the King University Parish
  • Dr. Peter Donahue, Director of the School of Social Work
  • Jennifer Ayers '08, King’s Alumni Association President
  • Father Mark Sargent, King's University College Board Chair

The livestream broadcast can be seen at https://www.kings.uwo.ca/current-students/future-planning/convocation/fall-convocation/ or on the King’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/kingsatwestern. It will also be broadcast on King’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/kingsatuwo.

Graduates will receive their diplomas from Western University and will be able to purchase beautiful King’s degree frames from Alumni and Development. (Information to be forthcoming.) As well, the King’s Connection shop will be open online for souvenir sales.

Congratulations to the Class of 2020 – certainly a year to remember! Once conditions permit, King’s will be organizing an on-campus celebration.
