King’s University College is inviting all future students, their families and friends, to attend our upcoming Open House, which will take place at the Darryl J. King Student Life Centre, and across campus, on Saturday, March 9 from noon – 4 p.m.

Our Open House provides an opportunity to experience the King's difference, attend information sessions about our student services, tour the King's campus and residences, and meet current students and professors in a one-on-one setting about the courses and programs offered at King’s.

Dr. Tracy Cunningham, Associate Registrar, and Hadia Fiaz, President of the King’s University College Students’ Council, will deliver a welcoming address at 12 noon.

Throughout the afternoon, there will be guest lectures in the King Student Life Centre, Dante Lenardon Hall and Labatt Hall about our academic programs and life at King’s, including:

  • Economics and Finance
  • Management and Organizational Studies
  • Philosophy
  • Religious Studies
  • Psychology
  • Sociology and Criminology
  • Thanatology
  • Disability Studies
  • Political Science
  • Social Justice and Peace Studies
  • Masters of Social Work
  • Bachelor of Social Work
  • Childhood and Social Institutions
  • English
  • French
  • History
  • Foundations in Western Thought and Civilization
  • Admissions
  • Residence
  • Scholarships and financing your education

Admissions Officers will be on-hand to answer questions about how to apply, programs and scholarships opportunities. Representatives from our student support departments will also be available for consultation. The departments include: Student Financial Services, Cardinal Carter Library, Residence, Campus Ministry, our Academic Dean's Office, Dean of Students Office and Accessibility Services. As well, many of the student clubs will also be in attendance.      

We encourage you to attend our Open House and experience the benefits of earning a Western University degree as a student in a small, supportive community at King’s.

Register for our Open House at https://www.kings.uwo.ca/future-students/open-house/.  Those pre-registering for the Open House will have an opportunity to win a GoPro Hero. All students (including those pre-registered) could win $250 of swag and prizes.

Tours of the campus will be offered from 12:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.
