There are many ways for employers to get involved with career initiatives at King’s, such as:

  1. Learn about our King’s Promise program – an innovative co-curricular career development program at King’s that is now in its second year (launched Sept. 2021).
  2. Offer a Job Shadow placement to one of our students. Job Shadow placements are one-day opportunities for a student to learn about a role (or company) of interest and to make professional connections. This also provides the employer with a chance to connect with potential future employees or volunteers! These placements happen twice per year around our reading weeks (typically late Oct. / early Nov. and mid-Feb.).
  3. Visit our campus and participate in a Job Fair or Volunteer Fair. These will be offered twice annually – once in the Fall (in November) and once in the Spring (in March).
  4. Offer an informational interview to a King’s student, either in-person or virtually.
  5. Offer a paid summer internship to a King’s student.
  6. Share a job posting or call for volunteers and I will share it throughout my network of students.
