Required to Withdraw
Due to your Academic performance during the Fall/Winter 2024-25 Academic Term, you are Required to Withdraw from King's University College for the period of 1 year, you may apply for readmission to King's for the Fall/Winter 2026 Academic Year.
Summer Courses: If you are enrolled in Summer Courses you may continue with those that have already started but you will be removed from any that have not yet begun and you will not be able to enroll in additional courses.
Appealing: You may seek a Dean's Waiver of Progression Requirements if you have experienced major problems which arose during the academic year and which were outside of your control. These problems could have been medical, legal, family, etc. Your petition must be supported by appropriate documentation. In order for you to appeal for a waiver of the progression requirements, the problems must have been severe enough to have had a drastic effect on your performance in your various evaluated assignments. Waivers are normally granted only in exceptional circumstances.
Readmission: International students please contact Enrollment Services to discuss the readmission process. Students who do not appeal for, or are not granted a Dean's Waiver and are seeking readmission to King's following their year off, must submit an application to the Ontario Universities Application (OUAC) Centre in Guelph, ON. In addition to the application through OUAC applicants must also:
- complete a Formal Statement of Appeal.
- provide transcripts from all academic institutions attended after leaving King's
Apply in early 2026. Do not wait for the full 12 months you were required to suspend your studies at King's to pass before applying. We advise individuals seeking readmission to apply well in advance as program spaces fill. If granted readmission, you may register for a session that commences no earlier than one calendar year (12 months) from the time of withdrawal. Readmission is at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.

All Dean's Waivers must be submitted in the format dictated by King's.
All correspondence regarding your RTW status and/or Dean's Waiver Appeals will be via email. It is the student's responsibility to check their UWO email account regularly, even in the summer. Failure to do so is not grounds for deadline extensions.
