What can I do in the Jira Portal?

After you've submitted a ticket you can access your tickets to interact with them. You can reply to Jira tickets from your email, or you can access the Jira portal to:

  • See a list of your tickets
  • See a specific ticket's history of communication
  • Leave comments on tickets to be delivered to the technician
  • Share a ticket with someone else
  • Close or cancel a ticket

How to access your tickets in the Jira Portal:

  1. Browse to kings.uwo.ca/its/service or click View request in the receipt you received by email:

  1. Once you are viewing ticket types, click the word Requests in the top right corner of the Jira portal.
  2. Click Created by me

  1. You can now browse and search for tickets submitted from your email address. Click on one of your tickets to interact with it:

  1. From here you can view the timeline of your ticket, leave comments for the technician, share your ticket with others, change the status of your service request ticket, or adjust notification preferences for this ticket.
