SPSS is one of the most popular statistical packages which can perform highly complex data manipulation and analysis with simple instructions. It is designed for both interactive and non-interactive (batch) uses.  SPSS can take data from almost any type of file and use them to generate tabulated reports, charts, and plots of distributions and trends, descriptive statistics, and complex statistical analysis.

The software SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) is available in computer labs at King's University College and via the Remote Application Server (Scotty) for students registered in statistical courses. The licensing at King's is for 30 concurrent SPSS sessions across campus. This includes use in our computer labs and on our Remote Application Server. If you encounter a licensing error you may need to wait to access SPSS or you can submit a work request ticket at www.kings.uwo.ca/itsworkrequest
