Congratulations on your admission, and welcome to the King’s community! We’re excited to have you join us as you begin this new chapter. Our team is here to support you every step of the way as you settle in. If you have any questions or need assistance during your transition to King’s, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at info@kings.uwo.ca.

As part of your next steps, all new students are encouraged to attend a Summer Academic Advising appointment. This is a great opportunity to meet with an Academic Advisor, discuss your program goals, prepare your timetable, and enroll in your courses.

Please note: All virtual advising appointments are now full. However, there are still a limited number of in-person appointments available. You can book one here:
Schedule an In-Person Appointment

If you’re unable to attend in person, we encourage you to self-enroll using the helpful tools available on the New Student Hub. You’ll find step-by-step instructions and videos to guide you through choosing your courses and building your timetable.

We look forward to supporting you as you get off to a strong start at King’s!

Apply for government funding

Government Student Financial Aid is a way to help fund your university education. The Federal Government’s website offers an overview of education planning for students within and outside of Ontario. If you are an Ontario resident and need help paying for your education, visit ontario.ca/osap to see if the Ontario Student Assistance Program can help you.

Ontario Students:

We strongly recommend that you apply for OSAP, even if you think that you will not receive funding. You should apply for OSAP at https://www.ontario.ca/osap as soon as the application becomes available. It generally takes 4-6 weeks for OSAP applications to be processed.

All students should apply by June 30 for funding for September.

OSAP applications generally take 4-6 weeks to process.
