Programs require early application through King's International office to ensure proper
processing of Letters of Permission and credit transfers.
First steps in the Application Process:
Students interested in going on a summer program should email international@kings.uwo.ca expressing their interest by the deadlines listed below under each partner. Students wishing to study abroad during the summer will need to apply for a Letter of Permission (LOP) through the Academic Dean’s Office at King’s. King’s International will assist students in getting courses assessed for credit transfer. Unlike exchange during the regular academic year, students who go abroad in the summer on an LOP will have the numerical grade transferred to their academic record (as opposed to courses transferring over as pass/fail). All fees will also be paid directly to the partner university. Once King’s International is notified of a student’s interest, our office will liaise with the ADO and send the student the application for the selected summer program.
