About
Anova focuses on creating a future that is free from gender-based violence and inequality. Anova works to provide safe places, shelter, support, counselling, and resources to victims of abuse. Anova also works to spread awareness of patriarchal patterns that contribute to gender-based violence.
Impact
By working alongside Anova, students are learning valuable skills in advocacy and prevention of gender-based violence and inequality. Students working with Anova are engaged in attending and leading workshops about consent and sexual safety, creating social media graphics and brochures for volunteers and students. In addition to learning skills in advocacy and prevention, students working with Anova play an active role in the elimination and education of gender-based violence.
