A message from Dr. David Malloy, King's Principal:

I have been pleased to learn how those who support our students and the continuation of operations at King's have taken the appropriate precautions to ensure continued health and safety for both themselves and students.

I would like to spotlight the efforts the personnel at Student Financial Services have undertaken to promote a contactless environment during the pandemic, while also offering many services virtually.

Working with Physical Plant, Student Financial Services is just one of several areas to have plexiglass installed to ensure physical distancing, and social distancing stickers have been placed in the hallways to assist with line-ups. For those in-person interactions, the staff in the office employ hand sanitizer between every visitor and rubber gloves have been made available.

Student Financial Services are also offering their regular services remotely. Students can call 519-433-3491 ext. 4319 or email studentfinance@kings.uwo.ca with any and all inquiries. They can also set up a phone or Zoom appointment for financial counselling.

Students can access in-person financial services in Wemple at the Student Financial Services desk on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. The office is offering services such as OSAP password and OAN resets, accepting in-person payments and receiving OSAP documents.

Non-cash payments are preferred but they will accept cheques, Debit, VISA, MasterCard and Apple Pay, all of which are available with tap at the counters. There are also several off-site payment options. More information about those options are available here.

Bursary and award applications, as well as Work Study and International Work Experience (IWE) applications are now entirely online. All OSAP documents can now be uploaded in the required documents section of the OSAP application, eliminating the need for physical copies.

I applaud the efforts of Student Financial Services who, like so many of our King's community, are implementing new methods of operation to ensure King's students receive the assistance they require. I welcome your feedback and suggestions via email.
