If you require your textbooks and course readings in an Alternative to Print (ATP) format, you will need to schedule an appointment with the Student Development Assistant through your Accessibility Counsellor.  This meeting will help to streamline the process of finding and/or creating ATP material, such as electronic texts, audio texts or Braille, so that you may receive this material as quickly and efficiently as possible.

At this meeting, you will need to bring:
• Your textbooks and receipts from a commercial source.
• A USB drive to store any completed electronic text books.
• Your course outlines as these contain information about your textbooks.

Please purchase your textbooks and request your ATP material as early as possible. Accessibility Services will work with you to access and create ATP material. To find your personal textbook list login into the Student Services website using your student number and PIN, https://studentservices.uwo.ca. Information can also be found at the Western Book Store website at: http://www.bookstore.uwo.ca/.

SSD-King’s may need to cut the spines off of your textbooks so that a high-speed scanner can be used.  Your textbook will be re-bound with a plastic coil binding.
