L'Arche announces Inquiry findings into the late Jean Vanier

A message to the King's community from Dr. David Malloy, King's Principal.
This morning, L’Arche International released a summary of findings of a sexual abuse inquiry involving its founder, Jean Vanier.
The actions described in the report are reprehensible. Our concerns and thoughts are with those who had the courage to come forward and share their painful experiences. We are devastated to hear the findings concerning Jean Vanier and we laud the courage of the women who came forward to share their stories.
As a community, we will support L’Arche in their ongoing search for the truth and healing.
The Jean Vanier Research Centre will take time to reflect on the summary statement of L'Arche International and have a dialogue with our community (both inside and outside) to understand how these findings impact the work we have been doing at our Centre.
