Welcome to the Academic Dean's Office (ADO)!

We help students plan their programs and courses, find accurate degree information, resolve your academic issues, and help you develop strategies for success. We support you throughout their degree. Our academic advisors and counsellors can help when you are navigating the best match between your personal goals and our academic programs, seeking advice about a problem that is affecting your studies, or needing assurance that you have met your degree requirements.

Contacting the Academic Dean's Office

PLEASE NOTE: To allow our advising team to celebrate the success of our graduating students the Academic Dean's Office with be closed for Convocation on Friday, June 24th until 12 noon. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you have questions about your courses, program or require academic advising, please complete the Student Intake Form. A member of our Advising Team will respond to your question as soon as possible. If you have a complex question, and an advisor deems it necessary, we will schedule an appointment. When you complete the Intake Form, also include your availability over the following five business days so that we can contact you or schedule an appointment if necessary. Before submitting your Student Intake Form please review the following:

Check Adjudication Status: Students find out their adjudication decisions by: Viewing their Grade Report in early-mid June.
(Go to Student Centre > Academics > My Academics > View My Grades > Grade Report. The Grade Report includes final marks and adjudication decisions (Remarks).

Requesting Special Permission for courses: If you are requesting special permission for a course offered by the School of Management, Economics and Mathematics (MEM) please use the MEM Special Permission Form. For all other courses please use the Student Intake Form.

 Fall/Winter 2022/23 Course Registration Dates:

  • 2nd-year students: Enrollment appointments will be scheduled between July 18 and July 23
  • 3rd-year students: Enrollment appointments will be scheduled between July 11 and July 15
  • 4th-year students: Enrollment appointments will be scheduled between July 5 and July 8

Please be patient as we are experiencing a higher than normal volume of student inquiries.

You can also use our Academic Counselling Helpline Monday to Friday, from 10 AM to 3 PM. Please call us directly at 519-518-2907 or toll free at 1-800-265-4406, and someone will assist you in completing the Student intake Form.

The main counter in the Academic Dean's Office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesday from noon to 4 p.m. for general inquiries. Please follow the posted COVID-19 protocols when coming to the ADO Office.
