King’s International Bridging Assistant Position, 2023 - 2024

Objective:

Designed to welcome and assist international and exchange students new to King’s with transitioning to university life and Canadian culture.

Time Commitment:

Must be available from Sunday, August 25th, 2023 to Sunday, September 3rd, 2023

Training:

Approximately 3 days (see below for details). Bridging Assistants must attend training dates.

Responsibilities:
  1. Communicate with King’s International and assist with all assist with all aspects of the Bridging Program
  2. Work with fellow Bridging Assistants to organize events for incoming students
  3. Act as an orientation leader for incoming international students
  4. Guide students on off-campus and out of town excursions
  5. Act as reception at welcome booth throughout the week
  6. Attend mandatory training dates
Qualifications:
