The information below is for students participating in Work Study, IWE or First Gen.
How do I get paid?
The only way to get paid is to submit timesheets regularly. You must submit them by 12:00 p.m. on Monday of the following week in order to get paid on the upcoming payroll.
How do I submit the timesheets?
The timesheet will be emailed to you and your supervisors so you’ll need to discuss with them how you will be reporting the hours. Timesheets can be reported in the following ways:
- Supervisor(s) will email the timesheets for you directly to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Student(s) email the timesheet directly to email@example.com however; you need to cc: your supervisor(s) so they are aware of the hours you are submitting.
What happens if the timesheet is not submitted by Monday at noon of the following week?
This will result in a break in your pay of up to two weeks.
How do I get my T4 for income tax?
A T4 will be mailed to you in February of the following year. If you change addresses, you must notify payroll in order to receive your T4 on time.
When will my first pay be deposited?
Student’s first pay will typically be deposited three weeks from them starting work and submitting hours. Following this, students should expect to received their pay on Fridays bi-weekly.
