Brandon Elliot Vecchiola’21 (BA Hons King’s Scholar Program, Honours Specialization in Psychology, Minor in General English)– Brandon Elliot Vecchiola served in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Land Forces Weapons Technician before attending King’s to study psychology. He was awarded the General Campaign Star – South-West Asia for his deployment in Kandahar, Afghanistan. At King’s, Vecchiola received the Academic Discipline Award in Psychology and the Agnes Penner Prize for developing a psychological application with the greatest potential to benefit society. He was also a member of the King’s Psychology Association and a research assistant for the Principal of King’s. Beyond his academic achievements, he has undertaken work for the Salvation Army and the Canadian Centre for Men and Families.
