Ecological Opportunities
An integral ecology includes taking time to recover a serene harmony with creation, reflecting on our lifestyle and our ideals, and contemplating the Creator who lives among us and surrounds us, whose presence “must not be contrived but found, uncovered”. (LS, 225)

What is a Climate Café? -- not currently offered
What can participants expect from attending a climate café?
After reviewing some basic community guidelines for the climate café, participants will be led through a guided sharing exercise where they can express their emotions and experiences related to climate change and environmental crises. While everyone is encouraged to share and participate, nobody will be forced or pressured to speak - we welcome active listeners to attend.
Every climate café will end with an optional art making or journaling activity. A variety of art supplies for collaging, sketching, and/or painting will be provided for FREE to participants to use while at the event. Participants are welcome to bring supplies as well! Free coffee and tea are provided for participants who bring their reusable mugs.
It is important to note that climate cafes are not therapy. Should you want to speak to a counsellor, you can access this here on-campus or after hours here. Online self-help support is available here. A counsellor will be available on site if required. After each climate café, we will review and share resources available on campus to support your mental health and well-being.
