Youth Hack 2017
Five organizations, five youth sector challenges to be hacked!
Work together with youth, students, design thinkers, youth workers and youth sector community members to create solutions for complex challenges faced by organizations in the youth sector.
With Keynote Speaker, Steve Cordes, Executive Director, Youth Opportunities Unlimited.
How it will work:
- Participants will listen to five challenges to be ‘hacked’, presented by five youth initiatives in the Southwestern Ontario region.
- Participants will then work in teams on the issue they’ve chosen to hack. Break out rooms and a light lunch will be provided. Teams will come up with a proposed solution through a series of facilitated activities.
- At the end of the day, teams will present their final prototype to the organization representatives, who will then pick one winning solution.
