TEDxWesternU: The Butterfly Effect

Jennifer Slay has many passions but they all boil down to improving the human condition. She believes that people are inherently good and that with every life experience there is a choice to make – people can sink (give up) or swim (take action and keep going). Jen has created programs specific to women, anti-racism educational programs, and self-help type programming with all of them geared to individuals taking the information and empowering themselves to be better.

On January 27 Jennifer will talk about how when we change the way we look at adversity, we can have a major impact on people associated directly and indirectly with us, thus causing a ripple effect for positive change.

Don’t miss Jen Slay M.S.W., R.S.W.’s ideas worth spreading!! Secure your spot at TEDxWesternU: The Butterfly Effect.

Jen currently works as the Director of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Decolonization at King's University College and owns a private practice where she provides psychotherapeutic services and coaching to individuals primarily experiencing feelings of depression, anxiety and/or immobility.
