Raj Patel
Coming from a finance background, Raj continued his studies in the MSc in International Business program at Ivey Business School where he will graduate in April 2023. As a Head Soph, BMOS Club Executive and Tour Guide, Raj was heavily involved in the King’s community during his time here in his undergrad. Aspiring to become a global leader, Raj has recently worked in India for a fin tech startup where he was able to leverage his skills to successfully provide a solution to the organization as a growth consultant. Post graduation, Raj will be joining CIBC in their Private Wealth Management Rotational Program.
Stepping away from the professional side, Raj is involved as an executive for both the Ivey Sustainability Club and The Ivey Sports Leadership Conference where he is able to combine his love for sports with business and is constantly looking to explore different parts of the world.
Ishita Kumar
I work within the Advanced Analytics team at TD as a Senior Quantitative Analyst to develop and monitor models focusing on credit risk, anti-money laundering, marketing and stress testing. I use a variety of regression, time-series and machine learning techniques in my line of work. I graduated from King's with an Honours Specialization in Economics followed by MSc in Statistics from the London School of Economics.
Grace Russell
Grace Russell is the Director, Project Development at RGC Energy Inc., a company owned by the Rinomato Group of Companies to provide renewable energy to Canadian homeowners and businesses across Ontario. Her ten years of experience in the solar industry, starting off in solar panel manufacturing, then project management for two large Canadian solar developers. She has developed and constructed projects across Ontario, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Japan. Grace understands the supply chain, engineering requirements and has built out many processes to ensure quality projects are built for the long life cycle of the assets.
Tyler Wilson
With experience launching two startups (Five One Nine Clothing Company & AUTOM8), working across the globe on projects, most recently in the fintech space in India, and having worked for almost two years at TechAlliance managing several key projects, Tyler has had years of valuable experience intertwined with his studies. Currently completing the MSc program in the International Business stream, Tyler is taking the next step in his career at EY as a Technology Consultant.
Outside of work, Tyler has been actively involved in the past two years of the Ivey Sports Leadership Conference, which has seen over 40 speakers travel to London to share their experiences with students while empowering the next generation of sports leaders.
Ester Gerassime
Ester Gerassime is an Economic Analyst at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, where she is responsible for performing quantitative analysis and economic research on various policy issues. In addition to her work for the Ontario Economic Report, she chairs the Infrastructure Policy Council and supports the organization’s advocacy work on infrastructure, transit and transportation, supply chains, and broadband connectivity. Ester holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from King’s University College at Western University.

Andrew MacNeil
Andrew is currently the Sales Manager of London and Waterloo for Financial Horizons Group, one of Canada’s largest independent managing general agencies (MGA), and works directly with wealth advisors, life insurance specialists, and financial planners in the region to help meet their client’s financial planning needs. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Brooke, and enjoying the outdoors. He’s a semi-professional chef (or at least he thinks so!) and an avid musician.
Rick Santos
Rick holds a BMOS degree from King’s University College and received his Chartered Accountant professional designation in 2005, Certified Financial Planning designation in 2006 and Chartered Business Valuation designation in 2012.
Within three years of joining Davis Martindale, Rick was invited into the Partnership in 2009 and became the Firm’s Managing Partner in 2018. His practice focuses on assurance and corporate finance within numerous industries including construction, healthcare, manufacturing, not-for-profit, and professionals.
Rick holds a close tie to King’s University College. Rick is currently a Director of King’s University Foundation in the Fall of 2019. Previously, Rick was a part-time Professor at King’s University College (Western) teaching tax, audit, and corporate finance courses for 10 years.
Laura Wimperis
Laura Wimperis has worked at Libro Credit Union for 7 years and is currently a Relationship Manager on the Business Banking team. She graduated from King’s University College in 2016 with a degree in Business Management and Organizational Studies. Laura enjoys helping to finance businesses and coaching them to meet their current and future financial goals.
Mark Wareing, B.A.C.S. Finance and Administration, Minor Economics
Mark is currently Senior Manager and Team Leader with CIBC Commercial Banking’s Public Sector & Not-for-Profit Group. Mark joined CIBC in March 2014 and covers the Southwestern and Midwestern Ontario markets for Commercial Banking, dealing exclusively with public sector entities such as municipalities, universities and colleges, hospitals, school boards and other municipally-owned bodies as well as not-for-profit organizations. Prior to joining CIBC, Mark spent seven years working for a mid-sized private recycling and waste management company in London as a Project and Administration / Finance Manager. Mark holds a Bachelor of Administration and Commercial Studies degree with a minor in Economics from King’s University College at the University of Western Ontario (Western University).
