The Gala will celebrate the work of students in DS2296. The course is a semester-long collaboration between 30 King's Students (that take Disability Studies courses) and 15 Community Participants with an intellectual impairment. The 45 students are matched in groups of 3 and over the semester they explore the overarching theme "A Good Life", with sub themes of "Communication", "Social Inclusion" and "Representation".  The course culminates in a Gala on Friday, December 7 from 7-9 p.m. in LH105 A, B and C.  This is the opportunity for us to see the final PhotoVoice projects of what makes each Community Partner's life a "Good Life".  There will be presentations, refreshments, and dancing.
