A group of 100 secondary students from 16 schools within the Thames Valley District School Board visited King’s University College on December 4, 2014, for a SPARK! Conference (Specialized Programming Activating Rich Kinds of Experiences and Discoveries).

Students were welcomed in the Joanne and Peter Kenny Theatre, and broke off into group sessions in Labatt Hall where they were able to choose between Social Work and Social Justice and Peace Studies workshops in the morning, and Childhood & Social Institutions or Disability Studies workshops in the afternoon.

SPARK! Conference is for secondary students who are identified as gifted, bright and talented.
