The Student Affairs department in collaboration departments across King’s has launched a new web page, Employment and Student Support, designed to help students with employment resources, along with aid for those seeking financial assistance, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Employment and Student Support web page includes information for current and graduating students. It features a blog and a tips and strategies section.

Joe Henry, Dean of Students, says Student Affairs worked quickly with many members of the King’s community, with the support of the King’s IT department to put together an all-encompassing page. There is information useful to students who must restart their summer job search and graduating students looking to transition to post-graduation jobs. Students in financial need due to COVID-19 can also find out how to apply for additional general bursary assistance.

In addition, content will be provided from King’s partners from the London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC), Immploy, Knighthunter and Career Services at King’s and Western. Students and community members are also invited to provide tips and ideas to share with students which may be used in upcoming content in the blog/vlog.
