King's welcomes over 100 students from 14 countries for Winter Term

King’s will welcome over 100 new students from Canada, China, India, Lebanon, Trinidad, Pakistan, Columbia, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Brazil, France, the Dominican Republic, Austria and Viet Nam for Winter Term.
As part of the welcome, King’s hosted Winter Orientation on January 3, 2020. Those new students taking part were given a tour of King’s including Residence and presentations on University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) and Financial Services, International Student Services, ITS and Email Security and TD Bank Account Set Up.
There was also a social aspect to the orientation that extended into the weekend of January 4-5, 2020. International students took part in icebreakers and a scavenger hunt and a walking tour of the main campus at Western University, went bowling and had dinner and social nights.
