King’s University College has entered into a partnership agreement with Bennett University of Uttar Pradesh, India. Dr. David Malloy, King’s President and Dr. Prabhu Aggarwal, Vice-Chancellor of Bennett University, virtually signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on December 9, 2021.

Dr. Gillian Balfour, Vice-President, Academic Dean; Marilyn Mason, Vice-President, Enrolment Services and Strategic Partnerships, and Dr. Tracy Cunningham, Director of Enrolment Services and Registrar attended the virtual signing on behalf of King’s. Vineet Jain, Chancellor of Bennett University, was also in attendance.

“I am thrilled to begin this partnership with such an outstanding institution. I look forward to meaningful collaborations and exchanges for years to come with our new friends and colleagues at Bennett University. Students at both universities will be enriched by this agreement,” says Dr. Malloy.

A student exchange program, under the responsibility of the King’s International Office, will promote academic exchange and support intercultural activities and projects between students from Canada and India.

A faculty and staff exchange will be facilitated and encouraged for the purpose of international collaboration and mutual benefit for common projects and priorities.

There will also be an opportunity for joint collaboration of research and academic activities of mutual interest in the areas of commerce and management in accordance with mutual needs.

After the signing of the MOU, Dr. Malloy made a presentation, entitled “Leadership in a Pandemic: Putting Values into Action,” which discussed the importance of values in Indo-Canadian leadership, especially during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
