Joint statement from Western, Brescia and King’s:

Western, Brescia and King’s value our long-standing affiliation, and we will continue to nurture these important partnerships into the future.

We are joined in our mission to provide students with a world-class learning environment, enriched by one of Canada’s top research-intensive institutions, in a community made special by our collaborative relationship.

The Brescia and King’s communities are proud to continue our strong partnership with Western University, which is reinforced by this statement from Western’s President and Vice-Chancellor, Alan Shepard.

Statement from Alan Shepard, President and Vice-Chancellor, Western University:

Western University places great value on the important, long-standing relationships we have with our affiliated university colleges.

We are proud of the thousands of Brescia, King’s and Huron graduates from around the world, all of whom hold Western University degrees.

This news is fresh in the Huron community. There are many implications to consider, and we will do so in conversation with Huron over the coming weeks and months.

Western is one of Canada’s top research-intensive universities, educating and inspiring our students across the range of academic disciplines, and we will continue to advance our mission in close partnership with our affiliated university colleges.
