The King’s University College Development and Peace Group offered high school students, with an interest in social justice/ecological issues, a day-long workshop on February 28th, 2014.

This special STUDENT workshop focused on understanding the issues related to some mining activities in the global south, in particular displacement, pollution of water and ultimately the destruction of the environment. The intent was to provide justice formation and inspire the students to enthuse their school community become involved in this important Campaign and learn how to have a positive impact in making a difference in the others’ lives.

It is hoped that this workshop empowered participants to engage their school communities to be living witnesses to the God of love and justice.
