This year participants at the Carpe Diem Conference donated over 85 pounds of non-perishable food items for the London Food Bank. The 12th annual Catholic student leadership conference delegates were asked to bring a canned good donation in lieu of a registration fee to attend.

Student leaders from the Niagara Catholic District School Board, London District Catholic School Board, Toronto Catholic District School Board and Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board travelled to King’s to attend Carpe Diem on May 26 & 27, 2016. Carpe Diem is an opportunity for students to further develop their leadership skills, and to be mindful of their faith and gifts through engaging workshops and keynote speakers. Madonna Catholic Secondary School from the Toronto Catholic District School Board, in particular, made a big effort to raise donations this year.

Thank you to everyone for helping the London Food Bank.
