King’s is celebrating Canada Career Month by highlighting the range of curricular and co-curricular programs and services available to assist our students to transition to impactful and meaningful careers.

To support our students, King’s has introduced the Food Cupboard, which makes food and hygiene products available in the lockers in the basement of the Student Life Centre.

Dr. Don Kerr, Professor of Sociology, spoke to the CBC about the challenges that may come from the "Don't Tell Toronto" billboard campaign, designed to lure people to London. Kapil Lakhotia, BA '02 (Economics) and former Chair of King's Board of Directors, was also quoted as part of the story in his role as president and CEO of the London Economic Development Corporation.

Dr. Robert Ventresca lent his expertise to an international conference, “New Documents from the Pontificate of Pope Pius XII and their Meaning for Jewish-Christian Relations: A Dialogue Between Historians and Theologians,” held at Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.

King's student-athletes Riley Mathieson and Sheldon Pryce overcame challenging conditions on a challenging course to qualify for the Canadian University/College Championship.

Dr. Jeff Preston has lent his expertise and experience to media coverage of London city councillors asking the LTC to update its grading criteria. 

Devant, an online career support portal for students at post-secondary institutions in Canada, has increased their services to include all students at King’s.

To foster bilateral academic and career-related collaborations, and broaden its international network, King’s has signed a partnership agreement with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (CanCham).

In conjunction with King’s delegation visit to Vietnam, Dr. David Malloy wrote an op-ed about how artificial intelligence has raised awareness about our capacity for higher-order thinking, curiosity and creativity.
