"KING'S ROOTS: paths to wellness"

Come wander with us in the neighborhoods around King's. This will be a weekly walk every Wednesday at 12PM, guided by a student, staff or faculty. There will be an accessible 20 minute and and accessible 40 minute option each week.

We know that movement is a strong positive influence on mood and overall well-being. This is an initiative borne out of a desire to promote many forms of wellness on our campus, which is in line with King’s adoption of the values and principles outlined in the Okanagan Charter: An International Charter for Health Promoting University and Colleges, which calls upon post-secondary schools to embed health into all aspects of campus culture and to lead health promotion action and collaboration locally and globally.

Come and join us for a chance to get outside, to connect with others and to experience the benefits of movement for your mind, body and spirit!

Meet us at the flagpoles in front of the Wemple building; no registration required.

Every Wednesday at 12 noon, beginning on September 11, 2019
