A great way to work on your wellness is to do so in community with other students. King's Accessibility, Counselling and Student Development (ACSD) strives to provide a safe, supportive and confidential small group setting with programs that have been developed directly from requests and feedback from our students.

BE WELL: Building Confidence, Adaptability & Optimism

Develop strategies for building your well-being. Join us for any or all of the sessions of Be Well: Building Confidence, Adaptability & Optimism. They use a variety of approaches, including discussion, activities and mindfulness techniques, to address the following topics:

  • Overall health and wellness
  • Coping with stress
  • Managing motivation/procrastination
  • Exploring identity
  • Navigating relationships with self and others
  • Mindfulness strategies
  • Supports

THRIVING @ KING’S

Another session of workshops is planned for the Winter term; we'll share updates here and on other channels.

A drop-in workshop series on resiliency and learning. No registration is required. Drop in to develop strategies and techniques on the following topics:

  • February 2nd – Mindfulness, Note-Taking, and Reading
  • February 9th – Grit and Test Preparation
  • February 16th – Optimism and Study Strategies
  • March 2nd – Gratitude, Group Work, and Presentations
  • March 9th – Self-Compassion, Time Management, and Balance
