Looking to feel more confident speaking English in everyday situations? Looking to meet new friends and learn about different cultures at King’s? Global Chats is a welcoming community where students come together each month for relaxed conversations, cultural sharing, and laughter!

What is Global Chats?

Hosted by King’s International, Global Chats is a student-led program designed to help international students and domestic students connect through conversation. The event aimed to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental community to practice English naturally.

Who can join?

Everyone is welcome! Global Chats is open to all students who are:

• Interested in improving conversational English
• Eager to make new friends from around the world
• Curious about Canadian and global cultures
• Excited to share experiences and perspectives

Each month, we will feature a different topic ranging from casually chatting with peers about your favourite movies to more professional topics, such as preparing for job interviews or class presentations.
