This is a two-day hands-on and interactive workshop. No prior experience in programming is necessary. We will work through examples together with real data using R Studio. A “Preparing for R Workshop” file will be provided to participants prior to the workshop.

Objectives:

  • To gain a conceptual understanding of how R works
  • To use R as a data analysis tool
  • To produce useful graphical and numeric summaries of data
  • To understand statistical programming concepts
