The World Religions & Cultures program gives students a solid understanding of religious diversity in our globalized society—and in our own communities and neighbourhoods. We explore the historical development, lived experience and practices, and contemporary situations of major religious traditions: Hinduism, Buddhism and other Eastern traditions, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.

Student Testimonial

For me, religion has always been one of the most intriguing aspects of human societies. The World Religions program allowed me to gain a holistic understanding of humanity and cultures. It has helped me to shape my own philosophy of life and taught me to embrace the diverse traditions encountered in a pluralistic society.
