Dr. Paul Werstine delivers lecture on New Variorum Shakespeare series in Germany

Dr. Paul Werstine, Professor of English in the King’s Modern Languages Department, delivered a lectured on January 28, 2015, titled The International New Variorum Edition of Shakespeare at Bayreuth University in Germany.
The occasion was a symposium in honour of Professor Dr. Michael Steppat, who has worked on the New Variorum Edition since 1976, first on Antony and Cleopatra (1990) and then on The Merry Wives of Windsor (to be published in the next few years). Dr. Werstine is co-General Editor of the New Variorum Shakespeare series.
