Six King's student athletes recognized at Western Athletic Awards Banquet

Six King’s students were recognized for their athletic achievements at the Western Athletic Awards Banquet last evening.
Claire Daugulis of the Mustang’s Figure Skating Team, along with Rory Tomlinson of the Men’s Rugby Team were both awarded with purple blankets at the ceremony. This award is presented to graduating student athletes who have made an outstanding contribution to Western athletics.
The MVPs of each sport were also honoured at the event. The King’s students who were recognized as MVPs are Josh Unice, Men’s Hockey; Lori Josephson, Women’s Rugby; Garret Sandivo, Football; and Traynor Turkiewicz, Men’s Golf.
