King's student-athletes named All-Canadians for 2023 football season

At the annual Vanier Cup All-Canadian awards banquet, held by U Sports on November 23, 2023 in Kingston, three King’s student-athletes were honoured as All-Canadians by U Sports for their participation on the football field as members of the Western Mustangs. This honour goes to the top university football players in Canada, similar to an all-star national team recognition.
“I am so proud of the accomplishment of our student-athletes inside and outside the classroom. Their perseverance, passion and determination are much admired and should be celebrated. I am grateful or the partnership between the Western Mustangs and King’s,” says Joe Henry, Dean of Students.
The following King’s student-athletes were named All-Canadians for the 2023 football season:
1st Team All-Canadians
- Erik Andersen - Tackle
- Savaughn Magnaye-Jones '23 – Receiver
2nd Team All-Canadians
- Lourenz Bowers-Kane - Linebacker
