Dr. David Sylvester, King’s Principal, was a guest blogger during November for RECODE. The Montreal-based initiative of the J.W.McConnell Family Foundation strives to create an  inclusive, sustainable and resilient Canada through social innovation.

RECODE brings together thought leaders from private, public and not-for-profit sectors to create social innovation and new partnerships across institutional and sectoral boundaries.

In his blog, "Building upon small things that make a difference in our community" dated November 6, 2017, Dr. Sylvester writes how he was inspired by an Interfaith Peace Camp for children at King’s University College. He urges his colleagues to work harder on campuses to make social infrastructure building more sustainable to create community impact.
