King’s has launched Find Your Crown, a new advertising campaign that reflects the heart of a King’s education: a place where students discover what inspires them, develop their strengths, and begin to see their futures start to take shape.

The campaign is grounded in King’s mission and its longstanding commitment to student-centred learning. Find Your Crown spotlights the transformative moments, inside and outside the classroom, that help students understand who they are becoming and how they can contribute to the world around them.

Celebrating the moments that shape a student’s journey

Unlike campaigns focused solely on programs or outcomes, Find Your Crown emphasizes the student experience and the importance of community. The concept is built around “crowning moments”: points of clarity, confidence, and growth that arise through meaningful connections with faculty, mentors, peers, and hands-on learning opportunities.

“Self-discovery doesn’t happen in isolation. Students grow because they’re part of a community that supports, challenges, and walks alongside them,” said Amy Casson, Director of Recruitment, Marketing and Communications. “This campaign reflects the real moments, big or small, that shape confidence and purpose. It’s a celebration of the King’s experience.” 

A campaign rooted in mission and identity

The visual identity of Find Your Crown draws from King’s rich history and its commitment to a holistic, liberal arts education. Each execution features a student protagonist at a defining moment in their journey, framed beneath the King’s crown logomark. The imagery is cinematic, warm, and intentionally minimal, allowing the story and emotion of each moment to take centre stage.

The campaign was developed in partnership with Richmond Day, whose creative direction helped bring the concept to life. 

A differentiator in the Canadian post-secondary landscape

With nearly half of Canadian students entering university without a firm career plan—and many changing programs at least once—King’s saw an opportunity to speak to the reality of student exploration and the importance of discovering one’s path in a supportive environment.

Small class sizes, strong faculty-student relationships, and hands-on experiential learning are core elements of the King’s experience. Find Your Crown elevates these differentiators by showing how they contribute to the development of confident, purposeful graduates.

“This campaign articulates what makes King’s unique,” Casson said. “Students don’t need to arrive with every answer. They need a place where curiosity is encouraged, where mentors take the time to know them, and where they can grow into who they’re meant to be.”

Find Your Crown will appear across digital platforms, social media, transit shelters, and targeted advertising placements throughout Ontario, national and international markets. Campaign visuals and stories will also be featured on the King’s website and institutional channels throughout the year.
