King’s alumna Sarah Selhi, ’94, BA Psychology, appeared on CBC’s Dragons’ Den, airing Thursday, January 17th at 8 p.m.

Selhi made her pitch for the Toronto-based start-up SpaceiShare, an online community across Canada that connects those who have space with those who need space for storage or parking. Selhi is now CEO of the company she co-founded in 2016.

“Appearing on Dragons’ Den is an exciting next step on the SpaceiShare journey and we can’t wait to share our time in the Den with Canadians coast-to-coast-to-coast,” Selhi stated in a SpaceiShare media release.

The media release describes SpaceiShare as “Canada’s marketplace for storage and parking,” adding that “anyone with extra space or property available can rent it out to a SpaceiShare community member who needs a place to store items like sports equipment, seasonal clothing, mementos, furniture, recreational vehicles and more.” For more information on SpaceiShare, visit www.facebook.com/spaceishare.

Dragons’ Den is in its 13th season.  Aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their business concepts and product to a pane of Canadian business moguls who have the cash and know-how to make it happen. Full episodes can be viewed at cbc.ca/dragonsden.

Good luck Sarah!
