Now is the time to discover majors at King’s! Meet faculty and current students from every academic department and program at King’s to learn more about which major excites you at Choose Your Major, an interactive event on December 10th. Register now. Draws for $50 gift cards for King’s Connection to all who pre-register.

“It was important to hear from other students about their experiences in these majors. My cousin gave me the advice that you really need to keep an open mind. When I came across Disability Studies and Thanatology, it just felt right,” says Elizabeth Hauspie, 4th year Disability Studies and Thanatology student says, reflecting on her own experience at a Choose Your Major events.

Current first-year and undeclared students can decide how your future at King’s will look by participating in Choose Your Major, taking place via Zoom on December 10, 2020 from 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

“By now, students have found out what they love to study. Now it is time for them to find out what they want to major in. We are here to help them to make some big decisions on what it is they’d like to do next year,” says Dr. Gillian Balfour, Vice Principal and Academic Dean.

Students are invited to this interactive virtual event which will help them to better understand the academic majors at King’s. Those who attend will have the opportunity to connect with students and faculty from every academic department and learn about the exciting programs King’s has to offer. Students will also learn about unique opportunities including experiential learning and community engagement options, interesting projects current students are working on, and which new opportunities are on the horizon.

“King’s has been here, heart and soul, in the library, in the residence. Faculty has been giving everything they can to their teaching and next year will be a brand-new year,” says Dr. Balfour.
