Career Connect is the central site for employment resources

Hire Western U job fair 2018 will feature over 60 employers looking to hire student talent. It will take place on Thursday, January 25, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Western Student Recreation Centre. This job fair is a fantastic way to network, meet employers and sell yourself. Recruiters will be looking for both full-time and summer employees. If you are not prepared to jump into the hiring process, King’s can help.
King’s Career Connect has four key areas:
- Learn about yourself
- Learn about career options
- Look for employment
- Build experience
Students can benefit from self-assessments in order to choose a major, explore career paths associated with specific degrees and discovering which careers would be a good fit. In “build experience” students can find co-curricular, extra-curricular, volunteer, experiential and internship opportunities to add to their resumes.
Once students are ready to job search, King’s has a new job board exclusive to King’s students and alumni.
Career Connect is a resource that compliments the in-person support at King’s and at Western.
