A virtual evening for applicants and their supports will help future students gain more information from a variety of academic and student support areas at King’s University College.  Applicants can virtually attend the Information Panel on May 19, 2021 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. and have their questions answered by representatives from the Academic Dean's Office, Enrolment Services and Student Affairs.

The information panel will provide important updates provided by our leaders from each department and will focus on how King’s will support students through their university experience. The idea of hosting an Applicant Information Panel instead of King’s traditional May Open House, was so King’s could focus on providing students with the individual information while we make plans for the Fall semester.

“We are getting closer to the June 1 deadline, when students have to make decisions about their university choice. We want to provide them with as much information as we can about our plans to provide the King’s student experience. We know that is integral to their decision-making,” says Alexis Christie, Coordinator, On-Campus Events.

The following Student Support Services will be featured during the panel:

  • Academic Updates
  • The Student Experience
  • Residence
  • Accessibility, Counselling and Student Development
  • The King’s Promise
  • International
  • Student Finance
  • Admissions

Each department will provide students with a five-to-ten-minute update, followed by a Question-and-Answer session for students and their supporters.

“We know that this year has been challenging in various ways and we want incoming students to know that we are here to help. In addition to an Admissions update, our goal through this virtual session is to keep students informed about what we are doing to plan for the upcoming year. We’re looking forward to giving students and parents the chance to meet our leaders and to connect with the strong community at Kings, who will be there every step of the way,” says Christie.
