King’s is proud to be the first School of Social Work in Canada to incorporate the Casper assessment into its admissions process, a move that reinforces the School’s leadership in advancing holistic, values-based education rooted in care, equity, and community impact.

The second class of the King’s Promise program graduated as part of the Spring Convocation. The program, which guarantees students meaningful employment within their first six months post-graduation, prepares students to enter the workforce.

As part of Spring Convocation, the academic achievements of all members of the King’s community, both students and faculty, were celebrated.

Ricardo Soto Canales and his mother, Deborah Canales, will graduate together at Spring Convocation, each forging their own path and making their mark on campus, while inspiring one another along the way.

The King’s men’s basketball team delivered an exceptional 2024–25 campaign, providing student-athletes with the opportunity to pursue their basketball dreams while growing as individuals both on and off the court.
