King’s International Bridging Assistant Position, 2024 - 2025

Position Objective:

Welcome and assist international and exchange students new to King’s to adapt to university life and Canadian culture.

Time Commitment:

Must be available from Sunday, August 25 to Sunday, September 1, 2024

Training:

Bridging Assistants attend a mandatory day of training, on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

Responsibilities:
  1. Communicate with King’s International and assist with all aspects of the Bridging Program
  2. Work with fellow Bridging Assistants to organize events for incoming students
  3. Act as an orientation leader for incoming International students
  4. Guide students on off-campus and out-of-town excursions
  5. Be at welcome booth throughout the week
