Automatic Bank Withdrawal/Payroll Deduction
If you are interested in this method of donating, please call or email the King's Foundation.

King's employees interested in donating through payroll deduction can complete the Payroll Deduction Pledge Form and return it to Kim Malcolm.

Bequests
A bequest, your gift to King's in your will, will ensure that we continue to offer a unique learning experience to all our students. The value of the individual, the development of the whole person and the importance of social justice in a Catholic co-educational liberal arts university college will flourish with future gifts like yours. If you are interested in leaving your legacy to King's, the bequest language form will help you with wording and give you more information on our legacy giving program. The statement of intent form will help us ensure that we can thank you and recognize your contribution.

Life Insurance
A life insurance policy can be an economical way to leave your legacy to King's University College. By making King's the owner of the policy, your premiums can be receipted, offsetting taxes now, or the full policy value can offset your estate taxes and provide extra income to your beneficiaries.

Securities
A gift of securities to King's University College allows us to continue to offer a unique learning experience and gives the added benefit of no capital gains tax. By gifting securities instead of cash, you will receive a tax receipt for the full market value of the securities at the time of transfer, and this gift will be exempt from capital gains tax. Please see the gifts of securities authorization form for more detailed instructions.

Memorial/Tribute Gifts
A memorial or tribute gift is a thoughtful way to express your sympathy on the passing of a loved one or to celebrate a special occasion of a friend. A card will be sent to the friend or relative expressing your wish, and a tax receipt will be generated in your name. If you would like more information on how to make a memorial or tribute gift, please contact:

Named Gift
There are opportunities for donors to have their name associated with a specific student award/bursary or a particular building or classroom on campus. A named gift to the College sends a strong message to our students, alumni, faculty and the broader community that an individual, business, or organization believes in the value of a liberal arts education at King’s. Named gifts may bear your name, your family name, your company’s name, or the name of someone you wish to honour or memorialize. Through a named gift, the generous support of the donor or designee can be appropriately recognized as a permanent part of King’s University College. Naming opportunities are available to donors with a gift starting at $15,000. A donor may choose to name a student award/bursary or a scholarship. Or, a donor may choose to designate their gift towards a building, classroom or other space on campus. For more information about how you can make a difference with a named gift, please contact:

Endowed Gift
As a donor, you may choose to endow a gift to provide a reliable and stable source of funding to the College. The principal is invested, and the annual income is directed to the area you choose (scholarships and bursaries). The endowment is managed by expert advisors and governed by the Foundation’s investment policies, and it benefits King’s forever. An endowed fund can be named for you, or you may choose to honour a special person in your life.
