Our counsellors provide caring and professional support to help you to manage your personal concerns more effectively. Our counsellors have extensive experience supporting students with their struggles of balancing academic demands as well as managing personal life stressors. Counselling services are provided by registered social workers, registered psychotherapists, and supervised interns (graduate-level students completing a counselling placement).

Our counsellors primarily operate from positive psychology, strengths-based, narrative, somatic, and solution-focused modalities. We strive to develop a supportive and trusting therapeutic connection with students to support them in the areas of their life that have become concerning. We focus on wellness by coming from a place of believing that each student has the best wisdom on their own experience and that our role is to facilitate a process of discovering that wisdom.

Mental health concerns can have a significant impact on everyday life, including academics. We can work with you to clarify goals for change, develop a plan for managing concerns, and build new skills that help you succeed.

If you need immediate crisis support, we support students in accessing crisis supports within the London community. Similarly, if longer-term support is needed, we do our best to direct students to where they can connect with such services.

For complex mental health beyond the capacity of our team, we have several specialized community partners who may be a better fit.

We do not provide couple or family counselling.
