King’s University College is committed to internationalization and intercultural learning. King’s has exchange agreements with over 50 universities in 25 countries. Through King’s University College partnerships, students have studied in China, Japan, UK, France, Germany, South Korea, Brazil, Australia and other countries. Students can study for a term or an academic year while earning academic credits towards their degree and paying your tuition to King’s. They can also participate in summer programs.Studying abroad benefits students academically, professionally and personally.

Benefits 

Academic 

Through international experience students are able to more fully develop their problem solving skills, applying educational curricula in a real world environment and gaining first-hand exposure to the culture, language, economy and history of another country. 

Professional 

Students are able to initiate and expand professional contacts, and work in new environments while benefiting from practical international experience. 

Personal 

Students often return to their home country with increased self-confidence, maturity, tolerance and an understanding of the world in which they live. 

Intercultural 

Students have the opportunity to become more culturally sensitive and accepting through intercultural exposure. This is further strengthened by programs which offer students the opportunity to develop their foreign language skills.

Eligibility

  • All students must be registered as a full -time student while on exchange.
  • Must have a minimum cumulative average of 70%
  • Exchange is recommended in the third year of studies
  • Students will be evaluated on the basis of their exchange application form, transcript, and Academic Counsellor’s reference.

In March, King’s holds a pre-departure orientation to prepare students for going abroad.
